This show is a fusion of arabic (belly) dance and afro / latino/ brazilian beats.
Who is Aisa Lafour?
(The Netherlands - Amsterdam)
Aisa is a diplomated dance teacher of dance in general, and specialized in Oriental bellydance and Latin/ Brazilian dances. In 2008 Aisa was the nr 1 winner of the contest " Bellydancer of the world 2008" organised by Leyla Jouvana. In 2008 she and Shahrazad organized a big theatre show " Cosmic Bellydance show" Aisa is part of the cast of Jillina's succesfull Bellydance Evolution show in 2009 and 2010, where she also danced a solo character in the Europe Tour 2010. She also had the honor to do the official casting for Bellydance evolution europe in spain. Aisa is the founder of the Oriental dance troupe: Dayy El Amar Ensemble. She has shared stages with famous dancers like Jillina, Ansuya, Keishi, Elisabeth strong, Ava Flaming, Mardi Love, Sharon Kihara, Leyla Jouvana, Randa Kamel, Tito, Shahrazad and many more.
She has a strong background in all styles of dancing like: Bellydance, Salsa, Zouk, Samba, Axe, Modern dance, streetdance, Dance expression and Egyptian Folclor.
Currently Aisa is an internationally sought after belly dance teacher and a succesfull performer in the international bellydance festival around the world.
Aisa Lafour has her own Amsterdam based bellydance school: Aisa Lafour Bellydance Company.
As a solo artist she performs at (bellydance) festivals, theatres, television, music video clips and parties, in the Netherlands and abroad. Also for the Arabic and Turkish scene in the Netherlands she is the most wanted bellydancer for their parties and marriages, because of her authentic feeling for the Arabic music and performance. She was even flew in to Morocco to dance on a Moroccan jetset marriage. Countries where she has performed and taught are: Spain, Belgium, England, Germany, Poland, Chzeck republic, Hungary, Greece, Russia, Brasil, Egypt, Morocco and Los Angeles.
Aisa Lafour is the Organiser of numerous Arabic Hafla’s and the Orientalicious Bellydance Festival in Amsterdam.
At an age of 4 years, Aisa became inspired for bellydance by Shahrazad, and it turned out to be her biggest passion in live. She have been taken classes ever since. She took classes from: Shahrazad, Dina, Randa Kamel, Sorraya, Amir Taleb, Raqia Hassan, Jillina, Bozenka, Aziza, Mona Said, Tito and many more.
