Nucita went on holiday to la Margarita/Venezuela in 1999 and she realized straight away that she was born in the wrong country as she was so attracted to the latino culture and music. Six weeks after her holiday she moved to Isla Margarita, and enjoyed very much living there. She learnt to dance Salsa on the streets. As Venezuela was very insecure she had to come back to Holland after 1 year... but she was addicted to latin music. She was very disappointed to see, with all respect, that the European men dancing so ‘technically’, having difficulty feeling the music and let the music whilst she was used having fun on the dance floor dancing simple, passionate combinations that fitted the music perfectly. For a while she only wanted to dance with latino’s but of course that was undoable.

Nucita started Club Fiera - latin dance social club - in 2004 in Haarlem (Holland). A Salsa School teaching mainly L.A. Salsa. Nowadays located in Hoofddorp and Uithoorn as well. At that time she was a Salsa/Bachata DJ as well. As she learned to dance Salsa in Venezuela for her it’s very important to dance with passion, and ON the music, she loves teaching their students how to play the game of Salsa and Bachata. There’s more to the dance than just learning combinations.

As she loved Bachata so much (she danced Dominican Style Bachata as of 2002) she started teaching Bachata as of 2006. This turned into a 12 level Bachata Programme. She's one of the main Bachata teachers and promoters in Holland.

Every weekend she is teaching Bachata (workshops and BootCamps) either in her own school or somewhere in Holland. Since 2010 she's also teaching internationally.

For Nucita Bachata is the love of her life... she adores the drama, the passion and the romance for the dance and music.

Nucita teaches Dominican Style Bachata with some Modern fusion and Romantica. Her specialty is teaching Bachata Musicality (e.g. Instrumental footwork, dancing the right type of Bachata on the right song, body movement)

Nucita is an entertainer in heart and soul and makes everybody feel comfortable during her classes. She teaches in a fun and entertaining way with a lot of details for leading and following. She also teaches Spanish during her classes and tells a lot about the Latino culture and etiquettes!

She's the organizer of:
* Holland Bachata Festival (3rd weekend of September)
* 'A Dream Holiday to Bachata Heaven' 27 March – 8 April 2012 (Yearly Bachata Holiday to Dom. Rep.)
* Club Fiera Salsa & Bachata Party Deluxe (every 3rd Saturday of the Month)
